Neighbour finally got his car from the dealership and he said long before he bought her that he wanted me to go over the new car when he got it. So I finished work at 6am and was itching to get started.
Car in question is a 2010 VW Eos 2.0TDi Bluemotion. To be fair the dealership did quite a good job of cleaning her but was obviously a quick wash and no detailed clean done.
So gave her a good wash and seal, put the roof down and gave the interior a full anti bacterial wash down and dress, roof recesses degreased, anti fungicide round the rubbers and restored and nourished, engine bay cleaned and dressed. Basically any gap I could get a cocktail stick in got cleaned.
Unfortunately with all the fun comes the not so fun, so off to the washing machine with some microfibre wash shampoo and 50 assorted suede, microfibres, waffle weaves and diamond sandwich cloths. :(

Looks great, love those wheels! I just detailed my fiancee’s Beetle last weekend. Polished away eleven years of neglect. Can’t beat that satisfying feeling of taking a freshly detailed car out for a drive.

Its my neighbours car but he spent about an hour saying he can’t believe just how well it came up and how new it looks. That’s one part of why I enjoy doing it.
Its always great to go out in a clean car.
